Most clients experience only mild discomfort. You may feel a brief stinging, cold, or burning sensation during treatment, but this usually lasts only a few seconds.
-
Most appointments take between 15 and 30 minutes, depending on the type, size and number of lesions being treated. The treatment itself often takes just a few seconds per lesion.
-
There is little to no downtime. You can usually return to your normal daily activities immediately after treatment, although the treated area may appear red or swollen for a short time.
-
The treated lesion may darken, blister or form a small scab before naturally falling away over the following days or weeks. It's important not to pick the area and to follow the aftercare advice provided.considered. Your skin is always treated with precision and care.
-
Many lesions can be successfully treated in a single session, although larger or more stubborn lesions may require additional treatments.
-
CryoPen is designed to minimise damage to surrounding skin, helping to achieve excellent cosmetic results. While scarring is uncommon, it cannot be completely guaranteed as healing varies from person to person.
-
CryoPen is suitable for most adults, but not every lesion is appropriate for treatment. We always carry out a consultation beforehand to ensure it's the right option for you. If we have any concerns about a lesion, we'll advise you to see your GP or dermatologist before treatment.
-
Yes, we can remove certain benign moles, but only after they have been assessed through a Map My Mole screening service.
For your safety, any mole must first be checked by Map My Mole and confirmed as suitable for cosmetic removal before we can proceed with treatment. This ensures the lesion has been professionally assessed and is appropriate for removal.
If you haven't already had your mole screened, we can advise you on the process before booking your treatment.
